General Security Principles
The following Security Principles are in place in the Canax Easy Trade Platform.
Data is only routed to authenticated connections.
Orders automatically suspended on service interruption.
Strong password policies enforced.
Orders\Trades are anonymous. Counterparty information is filtered from users
with insufficient privileges.
Encryption Methods
Canax Easy Trade uses a secure connection to communicate with our servers, based upon
industry-standard encryption technology.
All messaging between the Client and the Servers (Gateways) is encrypted.
RSA (1024 bit) is used for key exchange when establishing the secure
connection, and RC2 (128 bit) is used for data communication.
All passwords are stored in one-way encrypted form using an SHA1
hash algorithm. Passwords are not stored locally on the client.
